An initiative implemented by a school in Birmingham with a remote training platform by NIT - New Internet Technologies

In 2020, NIT - New Internet Technologies implemented a remote learning platform for children in England. With the help of our remote learning platform, the students of the First Bulgarian School "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" in Birmingham study Bulgarian language, literature, history, and geography of Bulgaria. In addition to the lessons, where the children can study independently, online classes with the individual teachers are also held in the system. The educational process has not been interrupted during the days of isolation and continues to this day. There are extracurricular activities such as folk dances, drawing, photography, and all of this happens online! The schools operate under Decree 90 of the Council of Ministers for Bulgarian schools abroad, and the certificates the children receive are also valid in Bulgaria. The teachers educate their students with a lot of love. They were able to adapt very quickly and easily to the remote learning platform and move into the online environment. They found a fun way to engage their students and tirelessly practiced with our administrators.

A wonderful initiative undertaken by the directors and teachers of the First Bulgarian School "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" was to introduce the Bulgarian children in England to famous stars from Bulgaria! All of this happened through the platform in an online environment via Virtual Classroom. The children met Slavi Trifonov on two consecutive days, as well as Hristina Bogdanova! The meetings were so innocent and pure, and the children's questions were interesting and fun.
