Using handwritten fonts (handwrittenfonts) is a very good solution when we face such a problem. When we use a handwritten font, we can easily emphasize important information while at the same time adding an element of seriousness and formality to what is written. In addition, it makes the writing more personal and engages the reader more.
Handwritten fonts are unique and can convey and express different emotions in your eLearning. They contribute to better readability and create the impression that something is happening.
The web offers an extremely wide variety of handwritten fonts, most of which are paid. Buying them can be expensive if you do not have a large budget. For example, if you want to get Skippy Sharp, you have to pay 30 dollars. Some websites offer much more affordable prices, for example KimberlyGeswein, where you can buy a handwritten font for only 5 dollars.
Of course, there are also free fonts. What is characteristic of them is that there is little variety and they look almost identical, but if you are persistent enough, you can find what you need. We recommend that you carefully review the terms of use before purchasing a font, as some have restrictions. It may turn out that the font you choose can be used only for personal, but not commercial, use – i.e. you will not be able to apply it when creating eLearning courses that you intend to offer for commercial purposes. In that case, handwritten fonts will not be very useful to you.
